With motion tracking, you can pin text, stickers, and shapes to moving objects in a video to highlight movement, blur people’s faces, censor parts of a video, and create an overall engaging video.
How to use motion tracking
- Import a video and drag it to your timeline.
- Select the video, go to the Properties Menu on the right side of the screen on the Video tab, and you’ll see the Motion tracking feature.
- Choose the tracking type depending on the subject.
- Click on “Analyze video” and wait for the process to end.
- After the video has been analyzed, you can select an object to link: a blur mask, pixelate mask, or basic text.
- Once you have selected the object, click on ”Link”, and the object should appear in your preview canvas and the timeline with automatic keyframes already made by the motion tracking.
